Namestead enhances the domain name control panel with two additional features.

Domain Name Locking

Namestead now highlights domain name lock status by displaying the lock icon () directly from the Namestead control panel which lists domain names based on specified search criteria.

The lock icon allows domain name portofolio managers to quickly determine the lock status of all owned domain names across registrars. Domain name locking has become more and more important as domain name theives are now targeting unlocked domain names.

How it Works

From the Namestead control panel, simply select a domain filter or enter a search criteria. The domain lock icon will be displayed along with your domain search results. You can then visibily audit your domain name lock status.

Viewing Owned Domain Names

In addition to the providing the visibility for domain name locking, Namestead now highlights all owned domain names by displaying the briefcase icon (). From the control panel, it is now very easy to determine which domain names are owned. This is the only way to manage a large list of domain names effectively. With Namestead, you can perform searches on owned and wanted domain names and quickly determine which results apply to your owned domain names.

The briefcase icon helps domain name portofolio managers to quickly see all owned domain names when using the powerful domain name search features from Namestead.

This change has been requested by bulk domain name owners who use Namestead to track thousands of domain names for changes. These enhancements will ensure that Namestead remains the most sophisticated domain name monitoring service of its kind.
