Permission Policy

The transmission of unsolicited commercial email is expressly prohibited through the Namestead system.

All Namestead email correspondence is permission-based and every e-mail address in the Namestead system is verified using "double opt-in" registration procedures.  

Any time someone creates a domain name monitor with Namestead, the system sends a message asking the email address owner to verify that he wishes to start domain name monitoring.  If verification is not received, Namestead will not start domain name monitoring and the database record including the email address is permanently deleted.

In addition, each domain name monitor notification sent through the Namestead system contains fast and easy removal instructions.  To unsubscribe, simply follow the instructions at the end of the notification.

However, if you somehow receive unsolicited email sent through the Namestead system or purporting to be sent through Namestead, please forward a copy of the email with your comments for review.
